What is the Fusion Business Meeting?
Every Monday morning, agents from our Saskatoon, Humboldt, Prince Albert, Warman and Martensville offices gather (in person and on Zoom) for a working business meeting. It is part team huddle, part training session and part progress check. New agents get plugged into the conversation from day one, which is one of the reasons Fusion agents ramp up faster than they expect to.

Professional Development: FINTRAC Training Deadline
FINTRAC compliance is a non-negotiable for every registered agent in Canada. Fusion agents have two mandatory FINTRAC courses assigned in the ReallyTrusted app, and the internal deadline to complete both is September 30, 2026. Completion certificates go to Leigha at the office.
- Course #1: “Express for Real Estate Agents” (33 modules and an exam, roughly 1 to 2 hours total).
- Course #2: “Fundamentals of Anti-Financial Crime Course” (34 videos, 5 exams with 4 multiple-choice questions each).
Both courses are launched from the Really Trusted app under RT Academy. This is exactly the type of behind-the-scenes support Fusion builds around agents so nothing falls through the cracks.
Workshop Wednesdays: September 9
Workshop Wednesdays are hands-on working sessions for Fusion agents. The next one runs Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and the topic is Cleaning Up Your Social Media Marketing. Bring your laptops. This is exactly the kind of practical, roll-up-your-sleeves training that separates a career at Fusion from working in isolation at a franchise where you are on your own.
Brokerage Updates: The New Agent Referral Directory
Earlier this month, CENTURY 21 Canada launched the long-awaited Agent Referral Directory. It makes it easier for CENTURY 21 agents across Canada to find the right referral partners based on location, award status, or areas of expertise.
The directory pulls information straight from your C21OP user profile, so the more complete your profile, the more chances you have of receiving referrals that turn into closed deals. Two things Fusion agents were reminded to update this week:
- Served locations – add up to 10 Saskatchewan municipalities you cover.
- Areas of expertise – select up to 10 (acreages, condominiums, buyer brokerage, agricultural, and more).
To edit your profile: log into C21OP, click My Profile, then use the Edit links under Contact Information, Professional Details, Served Locations and Expertise. Changes made in HUB21 can take up to two hours to appear in C21OP.
Legal and Compliance Reminders
Cuelenaere LLP remains Fusion’s legal resource for real estate transactions, with Randy Katzman (306-260-3339) and Brad Jamieson (306-290-4456) available to agents. This week’s compliance highlight, from the broker and reinforced by FINTRAC red-flag guidance:
- FINTRAC identification is required at the first instance of a client showing interest in doing business.
- All required information is captured in the ReallyTrusted form.
- Watch for red flags: multiple accounts across financial institutions without reason, mixing personal and business funds, or multiple foreign accounts without a clear purpose.
- From the meeting chat: if a client will not provide ID you have to stop the transaction, especially in a FSBO situation.
