New Partnership: Camp Easter Seal 50/50 Raffle

C21 Fusion has teamed up with SaskAbilities to support Camp Easter Seal — Saskatchewan’s only fully accessible summer camp for children, youth, and adults experiencing disability. Every ticket sold through the SaskAbilities Kids to Camp 50/50 Raffle helps send campers to experience friendship, adventure, confidence, and unforgettable memories. Our goal: send as many kids to Camp as possible. Families attend Camp free of charge every year thanks to fundraising efforts like this. The grand prize goes up to $50,000, and tickets are on sale now through c21.careers. Sales close September 3 at 6:30 pm. Spread the word with your friends, family, and clients — every ticket makes a difference.

Upcoming Events

Lots on the calendar over the next few months. Mark these down:

  • July 21, 7pm — Career Café
  • July 28, 7pm — Fun Committee Event on the Miller Lite patio at the Saskatoon Berries game
  • September 3, 1pm — C21 Fusion’s 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Greenbryre Golf & Country Club. Sponsorship and registration are open now
  • September 27, 3pm ET — Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre in the Jays Nest. Tickets are open to guests this year — $175 + HST, register by September 22
  • October 6, 8am — SRA State of Real Estate

FINTRAC Training Progress

FINTRAC compliance is moving. 41 of 84 agents have completed Course #1 (Express for Real Estate Agents — 33 modules plus exam) and 38 have completed Course #2 (Fundamentals of Anti-Financial Crime — 34 videos and 5 exams). If you have not finished yet, send your completion certificates to Leigha when you do. The app is mandatory — the staff have been instructed to reject any documents not done through the Really Trusted app. And remember: the app does not replace your duty to meet with clients in person and personally identify them.

Office & Brokerage News

Great news from the broker — a new front reception staff member has been hired and will be starting August 10. Stay tuned for an introduction.

Several important reminders from the meeting: update your lockboxes before installing them on any property — especially if you are heading to rural or lake properties where cell service can slow down updates. On the legal side, a reminder that expired contracts cannot be revived by amendment. If a deadline has passed, the offer must be rewritten. This is SREC and REIX policy — attempting to extend an expired contract through an amendment creates serious insurance and liability problems.

Gary is out of the office July 13-20. If you need to reach Gary, Tarra, or Laura, text them in a group chat and one of them will get back to you.

Agent Training & Development

The next Really Trusted training webinar is July 16 at 11am — the third Thursday of the month as always. Sign up through the link in the meeting deck if you have not already. Also: the second quarter GST ITC deadline is July 15. If you have GST to claim on out-of-office real estate expenses, submit your fillable form to Audrey at audrey.hamm@c21.ca by end of day.
