Busy week at Century 21 Fusion. Here’s everything that came out of the June 23rd corporate meeting — from market stats and training sessions to brokerage updates and upcoming events.

Weekly Market Snapshot

Fusion agents listed 324 properties and closed 75 sales this week, with gross written production reaching $504,656. Across Saskatoon, active listings climbed to 828 units (up from 763 the previous week), with 184 new listings hitting the market and 127 firm sales recorded. Notably, most Saskatoon sales closed at an average of $36,706 over asking price, with the highest overbid reaching $130,100.

Upstairs Training & Compliance

Wednesday June 24 at 10am: Margaret Burt leads “Managing Difficult Clients” — described as the best session yet. The SRA Annual General Meeting follows at 1pm via Zoom, also shown live upstairs at the office.

On the compliance front, two mandatory FINTRAC courses are now live in the Really Trusted app. So far 40 of 85 agents have completed Course #1, and 37 of 85 have finished Course #2. Staff have been instructed to reject any documents not submitted through the app — and remember, the app doesn’t replace in-person client ID verification.

Brokerage Updates

Several important changes went into effect this month. Manulife took over benefits administration effective June 1st — download the app to access your plan. The Canada Post flyer delivery program ended June 26th, but a private company solution has been secured covering Saskatoon city limits (Warman and Martensville may follow).

Other notes: Supra lockbox OS updates are available — manual update recommended, allow 5–10 minutes per lockbox. The Q2 GST ITC deadline is July 15th (submit to Audrey). Phone deals are available on iPhone 16 and 17 through SaskTel — contact Drew Taylor. Don’t forget to respond to Manulife benefits enrolment emails; Blue Cross will still accept claims for expenses incurred before June 1st.

Upcoming Events

Mark your calendars for these key dates:

  • July 1 — Brokerage closed (Canada Day)
  • July 28 at 7pm — Fun Committee Event on the Miller Lite patio @ Saskatoon Berries game
  • September 3 — 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Greenbryre (sponsorship and registration now open)

The brokerage will have reduced availability June 30–July 6. Text Gary, Tarra, or Laura in a group chat for anything urgent.

Around the Office

Camp tours are available all summer with age-specific groups — contact Jaime Helgason to learn more. The Agent on Duty calendar is set for Saskatoon, Humboldt, and Prince Albert through June 30th.

Great energy in the office this week. If you missed the meeting, grab the notes from the front desk or catch up with your team lead.
